Students attending Extreme Learning’s Academic Support Program through Supplemental Educational Services at their school site consistently demonstrate improved achievement. Over half of the students attending our program in San Jose Unified School District in 2005-06 increased their state standardized test score performance by at least one band, moving from Basic level to Proficient level, for example. Over 80% of students in our after school programs increase their performance on our achievement pre and posts by 20% or more. These assessments are developed by Siboney Learning and included in their Orchard software product which is aligned tightly with the California state standards.
Here are testimonies from just a few of our satisfied customers:
"What makes Extreme Learning successful is that they use programs that the kids like. They're able to diagnose the specific weaknesses or gaps that the students have, and they are able to design lessons in order to improve those areas."
- Edwin Diaz, Superintendent, Gilroy Unified School District
“Extreme Learning’s staff is organized, knowledgeable, and well prepared. The program is data driven to ensure that students are being instructed in areas of academic need, and is integrated with the daytime program. The result of this program is a steady rise in test scores.”
- Olga de Santa Anna, Principal, Mintie White School, Watsonville
“This was by far the most effective after school program I have ever seen. I was amazed at the progress in reading and writing that occurred; fluency rates improved dramatically and math skills were greatly improved. This is where the district needs to put its money!”
- Jean Gillard, Teacher, Hardin School, Hollister Elementary
